So over the year the store had boiled down from a distro containing all things fast to really focusing on TLAL and 625 releases. TLAL had basically dropped all our releases for the year so now we have the biggest drop this side of 6/25 coming up.
HOSTAGE BLOOD – 10” LP
Following their debut demo HOSTAGE BLOOD return with 21 new songs of hyper-fast, start-stop power-violence that recalls the hatred and anger of CROSSED OUT mixed with the speed and time changes of NO COMMENT. Features veterans from OBACHA and GROIN, among many other PV and grindcore projects. PV distilled down to the foundations, this is how fast-HC / PV should be played. Limited to 330 copies; on the bleakest of black vinyl. Artwork by the unstoppable Tommy Wilson. 625#336 Co-released with 36th Chamber of Thrash and Coxinha.
THEY LIVE / HEALER – “From the Caves of New York” Split 12” LP
From the caves indeed! Hailing from cold streets of Buffalo NY, THEY LIVE and HEALER join forces to deliver 10 songs each of fierce and angry hardcore. THEY LIVE are at their most brutal: think if early RINGWORM or BREAKDOWN played ultra-fast powerviolence not unlike INFEST. As an added bonus, they do a cover HEIST’s “Fuck Wit.” Not to be out matched, HEALER pummel through 9 new songs of some of those most pissed, high-speed hardcore anthems of anger and revenge you’ve ever heard. They do a killer cover of CAPITALIST CASUALTIES’s “A Terrible Trait.” Totally pissed – a great collaboration from two great bands. Limited to 330 copies. 625#288 Co-released with RSR.
SULFURIC CAUTERY / GROUP THINK - Split 7” Ep
SxCx return with 5 savage new tracks, stylistically fitting right in the between their last 2 albums. Relentless hyper-gore grind with blasting brutal death metal sensibilities. Imagine your head being run over by a tractor. GROUP THINK are named after an ENEMY SOIL song, and emerged from the same area as blasters like EMETIC, NECROPSY ODOR and MEPHITIC CORPSE, so you know their style is off tilt and fucking punishing. Total SLO death/grind blasting with D-beat face melting. Limited to 500 copies: 300 on black, 200 on coke-bottle clear. 625#340, co-released with the unrelenting Blast Addict.
Isolated Human - Demo
5-songs of brutal one-man powerviolence in the vein of early HATRED SURGE. Born from the hatred and isolation of Tommy Wilson who brought you OBACHA, NOOSE SWEAT, HOSTAGE BLOOD and a host of other iterations of brutality. Pro-cassettes. Limited to 40 copies. Don’t snooze. 625#341.
VOID BRINGER – “Green Mountain Power Violence” 7” EP
By far the heaviest and fiercest recording that VOID BRINGER has dropped so far – imagine INFEST on tour with Slowly We Rot era OBITUARY. Recorded after hibernating in the frost-bitten caves of the Green Mountain State, VOID BRINGER drop 10 new recordings of punishing stop-start power-violence laden with primitive beatdowns. The soundtrack for smashing fascism. Limited to 300 on green mountain colored vinyl. Don’t sleep. Green Mountain powerviolence forever. 625#337.
