Very excited to secure an exclusive, ultra-limited 100-copy colorway of this seminal release—co-released by Refuse Records and CrimethInc. Ex-Workers' Collective.
Originally released in 1997, Hope Against Hope stands as a monolithic achievement in metallic hardcore and crust-punk. Fusing apocalyptic dark hardcore, thrash riffing, and radical anarchist political philosophy, North Carolina’s own Catharsis created a sound that was as furious and emotionally harrowing as it was intellectually sharp. Being able to stock an exclusive variant for an essential piece of NC hardcore history is huge for the TLAL store.
Vinyl Variant Note & Pressing Info
-
Limitation: Strictly limited to 100 copies available through To Live A Lie.
-
Variant Note: Please note that while the original digital mockup showed a heavy red swirl in clear wax, physical copies vary in hand. Many copies pulled straight from the crates lean heavily toward clear/white with subtle red or pink swirls. That’s just the nature of custom vinyl pours, but we wanted to set expectations up front! Regardless of the exact swirl balance, every single copy plays flawlessly and looks killer.
