Quick housekeeping - we are now on week three of Shopify and I still had some things misconfigured. This platform makes you have to be on the higher tier for international shipping to query the rates live. I didn't know this at first. Then I forgot to make a Canada/Mexico table rate. I think I'm past those problems. Also in life, I have a six week year old baby AND I started a new job so things may slow down over here.
Back to business though - we’ve just stocked the store with some heavy hitters that you won't want to sleep on. Whether you're looking to grab a highly anticipated repress, some fresh Long Island powerviolence, or an exclusive colorway, here is what just landed in the shop:
Sex Prisoner – Cautionary Tale LP (Repress on metallic silver)
The wait is finally over. Tucson powerviolence legends Sex Prisoner are back with Cautionary Tale, their second full-length album and their first proper LP in ten years. If you missed out on the initial drop, we’ve finally got the repress available in the store. This record is an absolute bulldozer from start to finish, proving exactly why they remain at the top of the modern powerviolence food chain. Grab the repress before it sells out again, or pick it up on CD and cassette if that’s your preferred format. Second press is /600 on metallic silver vinyl with upgraded stock covers.
Death Certificate / Power Lies – Split LP
Two of Long Island’s finest acts have come together on this long-awaited slab of wax. This split delivers furious, politically-charged PV/hardcore that holds a mirror up to the current political landscape and the local scene. The LP features an incredible SSD cover, plus a track about local legend Ron Grimaldi saving Christmas.
This pressing is strictly limited to 300 copies total:
-
100 Random Marble
-
200 Black
-
25 Test Presses (Pink or Black, randomly assigned)
Peace Test – Repercussion LP (Exclusive Colorway)
We are also stoked to be shipping the pre-order for an exclusive webstore colorway of Peace Test’s Repercussion LP. Peace Test has been consistently churning out some of the meanest, most straight-to-the-point hardcore out right now. This exclusive vinyl color variant is available to secure now, so lock in your pre-order to make sure you get this pressing before the street date. Color is tri-color red/black/white.
Catharsis – Hope Against Hope LP (Exclusive Colorway)
We still have a handful of these left so don't sleep here.
