If you’ve ordered a record, tape, or shirt from us anytime over the last 15 years, you probably remember our old, crusty store setup. Since 2011, To Live A Lie Records ran on a custom, heavily hacked-together ZenCart system. It wasn’t pretty, but like a rusty tour van held together by duct tape and zip ties, it got the job done for a decade and a half.
However, the internet moves fast, and keeping a 2011-era database limping along while handling hundreds of pre-orders, international shipping calculations, and inventory drops was becoming a full-time nightmare. So, we finally pulled the plug and migrated the entire store over to Shopify.

Important Note on Existing Accounts & Orders

Past Orders: Any open pre-orders or active orders placed on the old system are still being processed and shipped normally. Nothing is lost.

Customer Accounts: Because of how user databases transfer between platforms, old ZenCart passwords could not be migrated for security reasons. If you had an account on the old site, you’ll just need to reset your password I believe and your old orders should show.
